Unable to install Parallels tools under Fedora 23

There seems to be multiple compilation errors in prltg.c (see attached log)

 

Hi LucC, please try to install Parallels Tools as suggested at http://kb.parallels.com/118876 and let us know ow it works.

Fedora 23 is not a supported as a guest OS under Parallels Desktop 10 for Mac, the following Fedora Linux versions 19, 20 are supported guest OS under Parallels Desktop 10 for Mac.
Please refer to http://download.parallels.com/desktop/v10/docs/en_US/Parallels Desktop User's Guide/33321.htm to know the full list of Supported Guest Operating Systems in Parallels Desktop 10 for Mac.

 

Ok. Parallels Desktop 11 for Mac supports also only Fedora 19 and 20. As Fedora 20 was released 2 years ago and is no more supported, wouldn't be fair to says that Fedora isn't supported at all by Parallels ?

As we discussed earlier, Fedora 23 is not a supported as a guest OS under Parallels Desktop yet.
You can install Fedora 21 on Parallels Desktop 10/11 as suggested at http://kb.parallels.com/122904

I've just tested Fedora 23 with 4.2.8 kernel on board, tools have been installed without issues. could you try http://kb.parallels.com/en/118876 ?

 

I agree with LucC: Parallels should refrain from misleading people that there is support for Fedora in Parallels 10/11.
Fedora 19, 20 and 21 have already been End-of-Life'd. Please see here: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/End_of_life
To me, it's quite clear that there is no need to mention those archaic systems on this page: http://kb.parallels.com/en/12266. You make the list long for nothing.
