A virtual machine is created from the existing Boot Camp partition on your Mac. This allows you to run Mac OS X and your BootCamp Windows installation simultaneously. Please refer to this article to run my Boot Camp partition with Parallels Desktop. Parallels have it own drive for Display adapter driver.

 

You receive this warning due to the fact that the Parallels Display Adapter driver is not included to the list of drivers compatible for Windows 10 Update.
We would suggest you to upgrade Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 on native boot camp as suggested in the article and then create a BootCamp based virtual machine on Parallels Desktop.

 

Yes, check your Windows virtual machine for pending updates (using Windows 8.1 Update service). Make sure to install all pending updates. Once the updates are installed, try again to perform an upgrade via the Get Windows 10 app.
