Mid-2010 Macbook Pro Yosemite 10.10.5 8GM ram...installed Windows 10...trying to run moneysoft business valuation specialist. Basically financial valuation software. Works ok for a number of the program sections which are just effectively entering data. Tabs open different sections for data entry. Clicking from 1 tab to another in certain sections crashes the program. Ran program as administrator. Same crashes. Any ideas? Tried everything. Uninstalled reinstalled both parallels and windows, no luck. Appreciate ideas.
Hello KenD3, Try to increase the RAM memory for your Windows by referring to this article. If it still crashes, isolate Windows and Mac and then run your application to check how it works.
Kindly uninstall Parallels Desktop, reset ACL permissions on Mac as per this article and reinstall Parallels Desktop from a new admin Mac user and check if the issue persists.
I did all of this very carefully and i still get crashes immediately. Is there a way just to return parallels for a refund...very frustrating and I've spent hours on this with no luck.

If it's an app crash, it will be better to discuss it with app developers first as only they have symbols to analyze crash dump and understand what is the cause of the crash. Once they figure it out and confirm that this is caused by virtualization and by smth specifically, you may contact Parallels support and they will be able to escalate it to Development.
Note the post above is applicable only if app crashes. If it's a windows/mac crash, then you should contact Parallels Support and file a ticket
