I'm trying to run a 'game' on 3.0, but the game software does not recognize the video (Parallels Video Driver) as a 3D device. Is there any way to get a compatible video driver for Parallels 3.0 that will work with games requiring 3D efffects?

The game does require DirectX 9 which is supported by Pa.r ver 3.0 (or is supposed to). However, since Parallels uses a driver entitled 'Parallels Video Driver', the game does seem to recognize this as a 3D device.

What is the solution? Yes, I do have the tools installed & USB devices enabled.

At article i post above wrote "The problem will be fixed in the future versions of Parallels Desktop for Mac" so DirectX 9.x not supported by PD 3.0 yet.

Thanks for the info - guess I'll just have to wait on another upgrade.
