Can someone out there please shed some light on this? There are no virtual disks on my machine right now so the Installation wizard comes up when I click Parellels, I enter the express install, enter my serial number, then when I'm to click "Finish" nothing happens, no error code or anything. I've tried both xp and vista, read from cd and .iso files, express, typical, and custom install. The weirdest part is it worked before, had xp then upgraded to vista, the virtual disk got deleted and I'm trying to reinstall. Thank you for any and all help, Dave
Try to set booting "cd-rom, hard disk, floppy" Now it should install your cd Greetings http://forum.parallels.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=672&stc=1&d=1186391592
dragonkat- as far as i can tell all my old files are removed, in fact i just uninstalled parallels 2.x and installed 3.0, still did not solve my problem, click Finish and nothing, cancel works fine jackybe67- i can't get into that configuration window, need to install an OS first but parallels won't let me any other suggestions? this is driving me insane, i hate bootcamp thank!
I STILL have this problem, it started back when they released the new build with convergence. Now I use the parallels disk as a coaster. The parallels tech support doesn't know what to do. I've given up. A previous thread posted this http://forum.parallels.com/post60314-linear.html#post60314- but it didn't work for me. Good Luck.
Sorry to hear. Witch version off parallels you where running? Did you try upgrade? Or totally uninstall parallels and install it back?
Dave, When you upgraded to 3 this was a download, Have you tried to download Parallels again you may have gotten a corrupt file. kat
