Hi: I am running Parallels with Mac OS 10.4.10 and Windows XP. Should I be able to drag photos from iPhoto to the PC and vice versa? The Apple store (MacOutfitters) who set up my MacBook Pro said no, that I have to drag the photos to a shared file first. I am new to the forum so forgive my question if it has already been answered. Thank you- Kevan

I just tried it, dragging photos directly from iPhoto to Windows works just fine. You can even drag the photos directly to Windows programs that support drag-and-drop.

Hi: Thanks for your response. I just did it too! Funny thing, when I picked up the MacBook pro after having Parallels and XP installed, it wouldn't do it. This is great!I dragged a photo from iPhoto to My Pictures. Thanks! --Kevan

The problem is- you can't drag and drop from Windows My Pictures to iPhoto, or at least I can't. What am I missing?--Kevan
