After last update of Parallels I'm getting the infamous: "USB device you are trying to connect to the virtual machine is being used by another application..." when trying to connect my Garmin 276C gps device. All other usb devices connect without any problem, it's only a garmin usb device issue. Before upgrading Parallels Desktops, I've used my garmin 276 with Parallels Desktop for months and every things was working fine. My configuration: MacBook Pro 17" Intel Core 2 Duo, 2.33 Ghz 3GB Ram Mac OS X 10.4.10 (8R2218) Parallels Desktop 3.0 Build 4560 Guest Operating System: Windows XP Professional SP2 Version 5.1 Build 2600.xpsp_sp2_gdr.070227-2254 I've tried all the possible combination of reboot mac, reboot windows xp, connect to other usb port, without success. Garmin Mac OS X native software still recognize and connect to my garmin gps device, so it is not a problem of the gps or of the host operating system. Thanks for your help. Mauro --
Hi. I've the same problem with a Garmin Nuvi 200, Parallels 5144 (release candidate). That's realy a pitty, the Garmin is almost the only program which I would need in Windows. All other USB (stoage devices) work fine. The Garmin work fine under OS X and Bootcamp Windows as a storage device. Cheers, Uwe
