For a very long time now, many times when I come into work, I find my VM has blue screened. It took until recently to realize that it's really happening when I plug in my thunderbolt display. The blue screen message is BUGCODE_USB_DRIVER.

I've googled that problem for windows in general. I've tried many of the fixes including completely uninstalling all usb drivers and letting windows reinstall them. I can't figure out how to get this to stop. Any help would be appreciated!

    Thanks!

Hi Tim, please create a Problem Report for the virtual machine as described here http://kb.parallels.com/9058 and provide us with the Problem Report ID.

Thank you for the report ID TimH2, we have checked the problem report and found that the network adapter 2 is disconnected. Please start your Windows virtual machine and go to Devices->Network2- >Shared and restart your Windows virtual machine and check the sound on the thunderbolt display. Thanks!

Thanks for the reply. I have changed the setting for network adapter 2. However, that is the network adapter from my second thunderbolt display. This issue predates me getting the second display, so I'm not sure that will help.
I'm not sure what you mean by "check the sound on the thunderbolt display".

    Thanks for your help!

Hi, thank you for the report, we will investigate it closer.
Meantime: I see from the problem report that usb-devices on thunderbolt displays are selected to be connected to VM automatically, please disable autoconnect to VMs (menu Parallels Desktop -> Preferences -> Devices) - choose devices (window Permanent Assignment) to connect to "Your Mac"
