Hi all, This must be a FAQ, but I can't find an answer anywhere. Parallels Transporter took everything off my old Dell laptop just fine. I told it to make a VM image, instead of just a data disk, and that worked. However, I can't get past Windows activation. After failing online, I called up Microsoft, and was told that OEM versions of Windows can't be moved to other hardware. I do have retail boxed version of Windows XP I paid for, but the reason I'm trying to use Transporter is that I want all the registry settings, software, &c. from the old laptop intact on the virtual machine. Is this possible?
