Latest Parallels Desktop (11.1.3) on iMac Retina - Virtual machine is Snow Leopard Server.

    Runs well, BUT..

when I attempt to copy files between the Virtual Machine and the host, the resource forks of the files disappear.

    I need those resource forks.

Other than zipping/unzipping, is there any solution?

    Hello,
Please try to reinstall Parallels Tools and check if it works!
To reinstall Parallels Tools, Click on Actions > Reinstall Parallels Tools.

That did not resolve the issue.

I also noticed that Caps Lock key does not work in the Virtual Machine.

Please update Parallels Desktop 11 to the latest build and if the issue persists, please check out this article to fix it.

That support article seems targeted to windows VM's. It had no effect on SL Server as guest machine.

The latest build had no effect on either issue

Hey wardm, Change the system shortcut settings for your Snow Leopard server Virtual Machine by navigating to Parallels > Preferences > System Shortcuts > OS X System Shortcuts > Send OS X System Shortcuts > Set it as 'Never' and check if it works.
