This weekend I have been struggling with My Windows 10 VM. There is an update posted for Parallel Tools, and when I apply this, the Windows 10 Start menu just stops working. Not just in Coherence mode, but also in all other modes. I have narrowed it down to just that -- I will take s snapshot of the VM with the Start menu working, then apply the Parallel Tool update, and it stops working. If I revert to the snapshot, all is fine again.

I have successfully solved the issue with the second method described: create a new userid and copy the contents of the C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Local\TileDataLayer\Database directory from the new user to the old user. Thanks for the help.
