This weekend I have been struggling with My Windows 10 VM. There is an update posted for Parallel Tools, and when I apply this, the Windows 10 Start menu just stops working. Not just in Coherence mode, but also in all other modes.
I have narrowed it down to just that -- I will take s snapshot of the VM with the Start menu working, then apply the Parallel Tool update, and it stops working.
If I revert to the snapshot, all is fine again.

    Hello FransB1,
This might be the known issue with Windows 10 Start menu due to Windows user profile getting corrupted. Try the work around from this article and let us know how it works.

I have successfully solved the issue with the second method described: create a new userid and copy the contents of the
C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Local\TileDataLayer\Database directory from the new user to the old user.
    Thanks for the help.
