Been having a nightmare with expanding Windows 7 virtual system. On Parallels Desktop 11 for Mac.
Followed several help files and made some progress.
Main issue is C: drive still sits at 64GB but under:
Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Computer Management -> Storage -> Disk Management
I see top centre section Volume (C: ) capacity is 64GB
but in section below Disk 0 is Basic 160.00 GB and next to it (C: ) is also 160.00 GB.
How do I tell the to Volume the Win OS uses to expand to the 160.00 GB?
Right click menu has "Extend Volume" ghosted out.

Hi Ottoman, Please submit a Problem Report ID http://kb.parallels.com/9058 and provide us the ID number here, to investigate further on this issue. Also please provide more information about the size of the virtual hard disk, Mac HDD. Thanks!

I'm having the same problem. Windows reported running out of space, so I just expanded Hard Disk 1 from 200 GB to 256GB. After the expansion, which shows correctly in the parallels configure pane, I still get "running out of space" warnings. Under Computer Management->Disk Management, the top center window lists (C:) drive capacity as 63.66GB, but below that, in the lower Disk 0 window, (C:) drive is listed as 255.66GB. What do I do?
