I need to VPN into my work from inside the Parallel running Win10 from my business. I have Shared Network in the settings but I get the following errors from my VPN client from within my virtual machine (see below). If I boot my Mac into Win10 via the USB I have it gets the wireless connection and I can VPN. So I'm fairly sure I need a Bridge Network connection but I can't seem to get an IP from my local network with the "Default Adaptor" option. I'm not sure how to set up the network so that I can use the VPN client to connect to my business. Any tips?

Hi JayP1, try the steps given below:
    1. Open Configuration > Hardware and create a new Network Adapter (Network 2) using "Add" button.
    2. Set Bridged mode for one of them and Host-only for the other.
    3. In the virtual machine please go to Start -> in the search box (or Run... option) type "cmd" (without quotes) -> open Command Prompt -> type:
    ipconfig /flushdns
    4. Restart Windows virtual machine and check how it goes.

    Hi Arun,
Thanks for the reply. I tried exactly what you suggested several times and it didn't work.
One time I got the image below (see link)
    https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B6WHu14u074CcnVYb1dSVkFiTjA/view?usp=sharing
Another time I got into a loop of Parallels rebooting the image over and over (that was a pain).
The time that I got the VM to come up I couldn't see anything on any network.
I do see that when I'm connected to the unsecure wireless at work i'm on a 10.23.xxx.xxx domain. When I go to my VM in parallels I see I'm on a 10.211.xxx.xxx when using the Shared Networking options. This allows me to see things like Yahoo and Google but nothing on the network and won't let me VPN.
2016/07/22 09:51:21:848 Information <local host> The connection "Office Wireless - VPN" has been enabled.
    2016/07/22 09:51:24:129 Information 10.211.xxx.xxx Starting ISAKMP phase 1 negotiation.
    2016/07/22 09:51:42:536 Error 10.211.xxx.xxx An error occurred.
2016/07/22 09:51:42:536 Error <Default Gateway> The peer is not responding to phase 1 ISAKMP requests.

What I'm thinking is that when connecting the VM it needs to be on the 10.23.xxx.xxx domain to get it to work correctly. I'll have to try it at home to see if it will work when I'm connected to my home wireless but for now getting it to work at the office is important.

    Thanks!

    Hi JayP1,
What is the IP address of the Windows 10 Virtual Machine under Bridge network when VPN is not Connected ?
Kindly do let us know what is the IP address you get when the Windows 10 is connected to VPN ?
What is the VPN Client you are using ?
    Thanks!

    Hi thanks for helping!
When I turn on Bridge Networking for the Default Adaptor I get the following:
    Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :
    Link-local IPv6 Address . . . . . : fe80::889d:1a0d:6b8e:66c9%6
    IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 10.241.244.194
    Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.0.0.0
    Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 10.128.128.128
However, I can't ping anything inside or outside the network. As a result I can not connect to VPN. When I do try to connect via VPN I get the following using the "Dell SonicWALL Global VPN Client":

When I have the Shared Networking on I get the following:

2016/07/25 15:01:49:518 Error <Default Gateway> The peer is not responding to phase 1 ISAKMP requests.

I can actually ping and get a response from 10.211.55.1 where as if I do the Bridge Networking I get no response from ping.

    Thanks for any help!
    Jay

Any ideas on what to do to get my parallels working? I'd like to get it working before the trail period expires in a few days. Then once it's working purchase it.
    Thanks,
    Jay
