I am trying to use nested virtualization using Parallels for Mac 11 running Linux Mint 18 as a Guest OS. Unlike VMware Fusion, where enabling VT-x is listed under the CPU options, I can't find anything like that under Parallels. When I attempt to use nested virtualization in Linux, it tells me KVM support is not available. Is there a "switch" or something that needs to be flipped in Parallels to allow a guest OS to support VT-x?

Hi JasonR3, could you let us know the edition of Parallels Desktop 11 for Mac you are using? Is it Parallels Desktop 11 for Mac (Standard Edition) or Pro Edition. Refer to this article to know the differences between Parallels Desktop for Mac and Parallels Desktop for Mac Pro Edition.
