    Parallels 11, Win 10 VM

When clicking an email link in any Mac OS web browser, Win 10 VM opens or comes to the front and opens Win10 Mail. I need to stay in Mac OS.

I previously clicked (open in Mac OS) when the popup window appeared.
I set Apple Mail Preferences to "Default email reader" to Mail.
    WIn 10 VM Configurations:
Web Pages & Emails > are all set to "Open in WIndows"
Applications > are all set off except notifications

Win 10 Settings choose WIn 10 Mail client.

This did not used to happen and I did not change any settings I know of.

  2. Hey, please try to isolate your VM from Mac and check the same behavior.
Let us know the results please.

    Hi Ottoman,
Isolating Windows will disable sharing & contact between Mac and Windows operating systems.
I can also see that you have configured your Web pages & Email set to " Windows " - which will open your web links or Email hyperlinks with Windows browser.
Change the configuration for Web & Email to " Mac " and check the behavior. Please note that you must make sure your Mac Mail preference to be the "Default email reader". Let us know how it goes, we will be happy to provide further assistance. Thanks.

Set Mac Mail Preferences to use Mail a default email reader but as soon as I close the preference window it reverts to "Parallels Desktop". I have also previously Isolated Win10 VM and restarted Parallels. This is very bad indeed.

    Hi Ottoman,
Perform the below steps & let us know how it goes :
    * Uninstall Parallels Desktop using PDremove.app ( Note : Your Windows virtual machine will stay intact )
    * Open Disk utility from Mac application folder > Select your MacintoshHD on the left side of the window, select "First Aid" tab on the right side.
    * After this is complete, close Disk Utility and restart you Mac computer.
    * Reinstall latest version of Parallels Desktop 12 ( Use this link for Parallels Desktop 11 for Mac ) .
    Thanks.
