Starting two nights ago, I have been receiving The following dialog box:

Yesterday, I upgraded to build 5158, but I still get the problem.

Force Eject cause problems on VM side. Keep Trying just has the dialog return moments later. If I ignore the dialog, it will go away after a minute or two, only to be brought back up seconds later.

In this state, Parallel Tools on the hangs on shutdown, and the VM seems to hang at the "Windows is shutting down..." screen. I usually just stop the VM after 5 minutes or so. But even that takes forever.

I did notice on this last run that the Local [network] Connection was broken. Trying to repair it from the Windows dialog failed. And the name of my Local Connection keeps incrementing (I'm on 3 now).

I should clarify: I cannot even stop the VM unless I eventually give in to the dialog and Force Eject.

    same here

When I use Adobe Photoshop CS3 in OSX and I have Eclipse opened in the XP inside Parallels. Randomly I get the message and I can no longer access the C drive. Also my Photoshop hangs.

    Hello Anm and Cosmin,

Please reinstall MacFUSE. Use this link.

The Windows filesystems drives are mounted with MacFUSE and you might need to update it.

Also please enable Connected Servers in Fider -> Preferences -> General.

    Best regards,
    Xenos
