Hello, I am a new user of Parallels 3.0. I just installed it on a new iMac 2.4 24". Windows seems to run perfectly, but it is not displaying the correct time in the taskbar. Is this a bug or a configuration issue? Thanks for any help.

Hey Sandro, I tried that. But next time I booted into Windows the time was off again, as much as 7 hours off.

yes i see it now at my VM too. It just wasn't critical for me and i didn't see that earlier. Seems to be some Parallels BIOS bug.

Check to see whether your NTP settings have changed. Are you on a Windows domain or a peer-to-peer network?

    tschooler,
I investigated problem and i've just seen that my guest Win XP was configured with wrong time zone. When i corrected it all become fine. Also note that Parallels tools must be installed at your guest OS because it contains special time sync component that synchronizing guest OS time with your host Mac OS X.

Sandro, that was it! I can't believe I didn't notice it before. I think in a normal Windows install (On a PC) you get a prompt to choose your time zone but I don't think that happened when I installed Windows via Parallels. Anyway I really appreciate the suggestion, that was the problem!
