Version 12.1.1 - image not recognized

Hi all,
I just received a copy of Parallels Desktop Ver. 12.1.1. and I am having a problem getting it to install on my MacBook Pro 11,5 running El Capitan 10.11.6.
Seems to download just fine but when I click on the icon, I receive the following message "ParallelsDesktop-12.1.1 image not recognized".
There is no firewall up that would be blocking the download.
Any thoughts?

Hi Mark,
It sounds like the image is corrupt or did not download correctly. I'd download it again and try it again.

That was exactly the problem. Seems there was a corrupted download that has now been corrected. I was able to download and install today.
