I've had this issue for about a year and just decided to post. I can't find anything similar to my problem.

When I first start Windows, my external drives will mount fine. After my computer goes to sleep a few times, my Hard Drives won't mount inside of windows. I can mount them inside of my Mac and view them but this is causing some issues with software I am running in Windows. Once I restart, all is good but that is also getting annoying.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Hello JamieM3, please reinstall Parallels Tools and if you still facing the issue, please go to VM Configuration -> Options -> Startup and Shut down -> on Windows close - keep running on the background and let us know how it works.

    Paul,

Thanks for the response. Reinstalled Parallels Tools with no success. When I go to Configuration, I don't get the option for Keep Running On The Background. Here are the options I have:

Are you saying to turn pausing off?

Exactly! Please turn off the pausing & check if that helps.
