Running latest Pararallels for Mac Desktop with Windows 10 Mac Sierra OS. First day worked great. Then I was trying to experiment with setting full screen. Now if I run Parallels with Windows 10 I get full blue screen with my hosted app (Revit) which runs but if I want to run a Mac app, like Safari from my mac desktop, it leaves Parallels Windows 10. So somehow I set something so that I can't take advantage of my Mac desktop like I used to. It's one or the other, although the dock is accessible. Any ideas on what I did? I tried to put things back to reset and restarted several times but no dice. What are the ideal settings?

If anyone doesn't magically know what I did, can you direct me on how to uninstall and reinstall? Many thanks!

Hi there. Uninstalling and reinstalling Parallels Desktop 12 is easy enough. Just go to the Applications folder (Finder -> Go -> Applications, see http://kb.parallels.com/123880 for more details) and drag Parallels Desktop to the trash. Then, download the setup file for Parallels Desktop 12 from https://parallels.com/directdownload/pd12 and run the same to reinstall the software (refer to http://kb.parallels.com/123891 for more assistance).

But as for the issue itself, are you saying that when launching a Mac application while Windows is running in Full Screen mode, that Windows screen disappears while the concerned Mac application opens up?

Hi Henmath, thank you for your quick reply. Yes, you have captured the problem. It seems I unset Coherence Mode. When I use Coherence Mode, all behaves as expected. I am now working well with Revit and Wndows occupying most all of the screen and my tutorial video (Mac window) on top. Only problem is switching between views within the Revit applications, I am now getting garbled graphics within the main graphical window when I click from one view to another. If a select another view, there is no such garbage. My settings do not recommend accelerating the graphics card because it is not the "Right Type"

Hi @MaryK, please set "Better Performance" to switch between the adapters, go to virtual machine configuration window -> Options -> Optimization - Power.
