Just paid for an upgrade to Parallels for Mac pro edition as I wanted to allocate more than 8GB Ram and believed this was the way to do it. Now having upgraded, I can't seem to go past 8GB. Is there a way around this as I would not have paid for the upgrade if this was the case.

    Thanks

    Hi,
I'm thinking of cancelling my subscription because of this retrospective 'downgrade' of RAM, so would appreciate an 'open' answer to jamesl7's post, please.
You have a couple of days before I can cancel my subscription, though.
    Thanks,
    Pete

You will not get one... they silently downgraded Parallels to create a "premium" packaging for more money...

Hmm. I looked in to a 'one time only' offer from Parallels to upgrade to "premium" for £34.99, which will be the annual subscription 'ad infinitum', which is actually cheaper than the subscription for the 'standard' edition. I've gone for that, so hopefully I'm sorted!
I can always cancel next year, if necessary!
