Are you getting this error only when you are downloading Ubuntu or other pre-configured virtual machines also?

I have this same issue but attempting to download any of the linux distros. All of the downloads get to the very end then produce the error "the network connection has been lost". There is a "resume" option but all that does it loop. The only option to to remove the VM's which are incomplete. Is there a workaround for this? My version is "Parallels Desktop 13 for Mac Pro Edition v13.1.0 (43108)"

Hi @MattDuguid, have you tried downloading using a different network?

Try the steps given in this article and check. If issue persists, let me know which Linux distro you would like to use.

I have exactly the same issue. I am able to ping the parallels server as suggested by Ajith in the earlier email.

I am trying to download Ubuntu from the Parallels menu itself.
