    Hi all!

Im new to parallels and have a problem with the USB controller.
I am running parallels workstation 2.2 on a openSuse 10.2 system.
The installation was sucessfully with no error message.

Now the problem: when i start parallels, there is no USB Controller shown among the hardware resources. So i'm not able neither to activate this controller, nor to use any usb stick or printer.

    Has anyone a clue?

    Kind regards
    Andi

    hi,
whether you added USB controller virtual device at VM configuration?

    hmm,
very strange. What version of PW (build version also say please) are you using? And sorry for follow request: create screenshot of add hardware wizard with accessable virtual devices list and post it here if it possible.

    .
10.2 uses udev, and not usbfs.

VMWare has two products, Player, and Workstation, which can work with udev.

Your best solution will be to change to VMWare.
