I seem to be stuck at installation

I am trying to install parallels from software I downloaded from the website. I seem to be stuck at the half way mark at the last part of the installation process It has said installing devices for almost 2 hours now at the halfway mark. Clearly something is wrong? Any suggestions?

I'd like to try your suggestion but to do so I would have to stop the process right now and I'm afraid what that would do. Last time I did it all I got when I clicked on the parallels starter app was stopped and I didn't know how to get it going again. It seems to get to installing windows then just stops half way.
