    Hello, Everybody.
Could be useful, almost for me, that the window capture could define the sound origin and set a timer to stop the recording.
Very useful to record old webinars which are not downloadable.

Many of us want to record the system audio, including the mic. Just mic recording is kind of useless.

Recording always seems the happen from the built in microphone. I want to be able to select which input device gets used

Yeah I agree. Enable to choose audio source whether from built in mic or internal sound will be awesome!

This would be amazing! even paid apps with screen and audio recordings today don't have this option!

In the latest version you guys finally added audio recording to the screen which is very useful but not when it is recording my key clicks and stuff... People usually need to record lectures or presentations and microphones pickup a lot of background noise including typing. If you switch to an audio driver that records the system audio or an external microphone (bluetooth or what have you) that would be way better.

Hi @ClayD1 - with the latest release (15.5) you can select a specific audio source for recording.
Right-click on Record Screen option and choose Preferences:

And select your preferred audio source:

At record of video from the screen, it is good to make a possibility of record of a system sound, but not a sound from the microphone.

I second this. You need a way to turn off picking up sound from the microphones. It's a great feature if you're narrating. But it makes the sound quality horrible, for instance, if you're just capturing something that makes sounds itself.

    Hello,
In all three recording tools (Record Area/Window/Screen) there is possibility to choose sound source - No Sound, System Sound, Microphone.
To find appropriate preference: open Toolbox, right-click on tool, choose 'Preferences'.

It would be great if the recorded screen area output a video file which also has the audio that was being output at the time of screen capture.

Check out Preferences for Record tools - they can record system audio!

Audio recording should include an option for system or mic.
