OK...I have been trying everything and I read the manual (RTFM!) but can't figure out how to enable the transparent app windows as shown here with the latest build (9.11.07): http://www.parallels.com/files/upload/desk02.jpg Can someone tell me how to enable this feature?! Thanks!
I think you can see it as "Windows Sidebar" on your Vista. If you want to know how to make a transparent window on Windows, you need to learn about it on the other place.
I think it's cuz I don't have a Windows Experience Rating....but when I try to run it...it fails...."Could not complete Assessment". Trying to reboot, etc....and checking logs now....
Anyone have any ideas after reading through the WinSat logs below? 054588 (2996) - winsat\main.cpp:2295: --- START 2007\9\14 10:57:47 AM --- 055519 (2996) - winsat\main.cpp:2567: > IsFormal=TRUE IsMoobe=FALSE. 055529 (2996) - winsat\main.cpp:1995: > DWM not running. 055529 (2996) - winsat\main.cpp:2051: > EMD device detected to be on. Are you sure that isn't just the transparent window support of coherence applications in Exposé. I get similar transparent coherence application windows when I use Exposé features.
Same issue w Win 7 Did you ever resolve the source of your problem? I'm having exactly the same issue with Win 7. Thnx.
