    when using scaling video mode there's an option with a boot flag to change the scaling filter...
    video.scale_filter=X
    > where 'X' is 0 (off), 1 (the default) or 2 (HQ) <

    unfortunately is this setting not valid or used for the coherence mode, there's always HQ used...
    i would like to set the offered modes also in coherence, is there a way? (i prefer 0 - off)

    thanks

    There are some pretty useful display modes included in Parallels, however there is nothing (to my knowledge) that makes the Windows VM (in coherence mode) read the monitor's native resolution and set the display resolution to exactly half of that.
    I'm looking mainly for just a blanket mode that would ensure a retina display could have reasonable window scaling but with sharp pixel edges (no need for fancy font smoothing).

    This change has been implemented in Parallels Desktop 14.
