    Hi all,
I was trying to run a 3D game on Windows 10 using Parallels 13. My MacBook Pro fans ran at very high speed and the computer eventually shut down. It happened 2 times before I decided to uninstall Parallels 13.

What is the problem here and did it do anything harmful to my computer?

My model: 13 inch 2016 MacBook Pro Touch Bar base config, macOS High Sierra.

    Thanks,

Depending on your VM settings (RAM and video memory specifically) and your MBP configuration (CPU, integrated/dedicated GPU) the VM can struggle with high load on video and/or ram, such as games. I don't think anything was damaged on your MBP. If you read the forum there are a lot of people reporting issues with PD 13 and Win 10. It may take another iteration from Parallels (v14) and another upgrade to get things right.
