I have really crapy sound, when redirecting local microphone to VDI Workstation. Microphone input is heavily distorted with clicks and glitches. Both Linux Client and Windows WS are in the same LAN, so network latency is not an issue.

This problem makes unusable VDI setups with remote VoIP clients, speech recognition software, etc.

    Please fix.

The setup is: Linux Client 16.2.0 x86; Ubuntu x86 16.04 LTS, 14.04 LTS, 12.04 LTS; Inel HDA, Logitech USB-Headset, Logitech HD Webcam with Microphone, Creative SB Audigy; Windows 8.1 Enterprise.

Please do not hesitate to ask for additional details if needed.

Does it happen only with the Linux client? (i.e. Windows client works correctly?)
Can you please confirm if the problem also happens with the built-in basic sound/voice recorder.
Also, are you using any RAS functionality or is this a standard RDP connection?

You are right, it is a Skype on Win8.1 only issue. The sound recorder records remote sound without glitches. And the remote Skype works ok on Win10/Win2016...
