Hi, When I try to copy (drag & drop) from the desktop of my host (Mac OS X) into the shared C D or E drives of my guest os (Win XP) the whole system hangs - including finder in mac os x - resulting in having to try to force quit parallels a number of different times (which never works). Then I eventually have to hard-reset mac os x. Force quitting doesn't work. How do I fix this?
Hi, We will investigate the problem. To workaround the issue please Drag-and-Drop files directly to Windows. Just open drive C: in Windows explorer and drag your Mac files to it. Alexander
When I try to do that it crashes everything same as dragging into C: drive on mac desktop. I've have also noticed that it crashes when dragging from mac to windows desktop. The copying dialog appears but then it says it will take about 1 minute. The progress bar never progresses and after a few minutes I am asked to force quit parallels (but the force quit doesn't work). Then if I try to open finder on mac the mac crashes.
