I am trying to use Parallels to run Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. It is on a real, physical disc (the original one that you can buy). I ca install the game just fine, but when I try to run it, it says "run out of virtual memory". I have 6 GB of RAM installed, so it really should not need any of the virtual memory. However, just to be sure, I raised the maximum, minimum, and both at the same time. I have tried raising it just a few MBs, all the up to a few GBs. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi Boblo,

A late reply... but maybe still useful (the game remains great!). I've had exactly the same problem and couldn't solve it in any way. Apparently this just does not work. However, I've solved it by letting Parallels create a second virtual machine with Windows XP installed on it. You have to install DirectX 8.0, then it works perfectly. Good luck!
