"The virtual machine processor was reset by the operating system." error message on OSX

The virtual machine processor was reset by the operating system. error message is shown when working with a OSX mac mini virtual machine. Help please!

 

I'm experiencing exactly the same issue with my Windows 10 VM. To be honest, it was happening already in 13 latest update but more rare. In 14 it is happening almost every day.

Same here: The problem started Sept 6 with Parallels 14. FWIW, the "Alternate" solution offered in the KB article fixed it for me.

 

I had the same issue with Windows 10 on Parallels 13. The following KB article helped fix it:

I followed the steps in the article. It did not work.

 

Please provide us with the version of Parallels Desktop which you're using.
