Does Paralles RAS 14.1 support wildcard certs?

    I am running version 14.1 Build 3447

I am trying to add *.mydomain.com under Generate certificate request. It does not allow me to use *.

  2. Please check this KB for more info about the issue.

We are having a similar issue. I purchased a wildcard certificate from godaddy, but parallels client will not accept the private key godaddy gave me. How do you install a wildcard certificate into setting in parallels?

I will assume that you are referring to installing the wildcard certificate via the Parallels Console (not the client).
As mentioned in the KB above you need your "certificate in the following format: Apache, with the private, public and intermediate CA all in one file".
Your problem may be that either your certificate is not in the proper format, or that you do not have all the parts of the certificate in a single file.

If this is not the case, I suggest to contact parallels support directly.
For self-problem resolution, I suggest you use the openssl tools to verify that the certificate is correct.
