I've been a Parallels user for years. I have it for one purpose -- to use my Quicken software on my Mac. It has always worked beautifully. Yesterday I finally updated my Mac OS to Mojave. Everything seemed fine. I was able to open Parallels this afternoon while at work, I opened my Windows 10 virtual machine, I opened Quicken and recorded some transactions. Fast forward hours later, I am home, I want to update my accounts in Quicken, so I pull out my Mac, open Parallels, and when I open Windows the screen is whitish grey with no icons or tiles. I can't open or do anything. What's weirder -- it says its Windows 8! 8?? Why would I suddenly be back to Windows 8?? And the "Enter Coherence" option in the View tab is greyed out. What is going on??

    Hi @ThomasH41
Please let us know which version of Parallels Desktop you're using.
And as I understand you have Win10 VM and now it returned to Win 8, right?

In order to choose the Coherence mode option, please firstly reinstall the Parallels tools using this KB article
And please let us know the results.
