    Hey there,
I work for a school and have been attempting to port an existing build into a VM. It works fine, with a couple of issues, mainly that the CD player does not connect; it seems to be looking for the drive that was attached to the older player...

Also I want to set the network connection up to connect to a certain ethernet port....

I am assuming the way to do this is to edit the .pvs, which I have tried with limited success. Two issues:

    - Some of the settings revert to older settings after I have changed them (and the PVS has full read and write access, and seems to save fine in Text Edit)

    - Is there some kind of posted explanation, some kind of key to what all the settings in the .pvs file mean, so they can be changed without shooting in the dark?

    Thanks

    Phil

I should add that I CAN connect to the CD/DVD drive, it just needs to be done manually...

    Hello,

did you try to use Configuration Editor instead of editing the .pvs file?

    Best regards,
    Stacey
