I've installed a Brother laser jet in System Prefs in Mac OS (Mojave). Parallels recognizes it in the VM. But as soon as I print in the VM the printer is no longer available in Mac, and instead displays as offline.

I've set up the Configuration in Parallels to share the Mac printer.

How do I make the printer available in Mac and prevent Windows from blocking it, which is what it feels like.

  2. Hi, please try steps from this KB article and let us know how it works.

Thank you. This seems to work in that I can now print from Mac and the VM.. But I now have multiple listings of the same printer in the Windows printer list. I'm not sure which one to use.

  4. You can try to remove all of them and once again share printer with the steps above.
Also the Bonjour printer may be located on your Windows desktop.

I'm just going to let it stand as they are, as the default printer that pops up under Windows is working, so I'll just ignore the rest. Thanks
