Vista does not recognize sound. I tried to install driver, but that does not work. Is there a specific driver to install for Parallels?

    hi,
whether you installed Parallels tools into guest Vista? To do it choose Actions->Install Parallels Tools... menu item when your guest Vista startup and you logged on it.

    Hi.

What do you mean on "Sound not recognized"?

Please describe problem in more details.
Provide step-by-step instruction to reproduce your problem please.
Check that you have sound device in VM configuration and you have updated Parallels Tools in guest OS.

Yes, I've installed Parallels Tools in Vista (guest OS) and device is enabled in VM configuration.

Sound not recognized = there is no driver associated with the sound device in the Device Manager. There is no sound from Vista (guest OS). When I point at the speaker in the systray, a box pops up which says 'No Audio Output Device is Installed'.

It worked initially. Sound works the last I booted to Boot Camp. Can no longer boot to Boot Camp except in Safe Mode.

I have Vista Ultimate and the latest version of Parallels 3.
