I'm using a non-standard Debian distribution with Parallels, however while the kernel-headers ARE available and installed, the system complains about the proper kernel headers version being missing. How can I instruct the installer that the proper kernel headers are installed and to use them instead of always returning an error?

Do you have /lib/modules/$(uname -r)/build/include/generated/uapi/linux/version.h or /lib/modules/$(uname -r)/build/include/linux/version.h file there?
