I'm a linux newbie and sorry for my bad English and lack of Linux background knowledge.

Recently I've been working on Linux KernelBuild on my Parallels Desktop Ubuntu environment (Ubuntu 15.10)

Everything went well, and I successfully built my kernel to the latest version (linux4.7-rc5) but soon I realized that I couldn't reach the Internet.

I have tried do some research, enable some wireless modules in menuconfig but I still couldn't fix the problem.

I've also tried to install Parallel Tools but it would fail in the middle of installation process.

If anyone knows how to fix this problem it would be appreciated.

Hi I'm not sure but I guess you didn't include required network modules when you compiled a kernel.

Have you done with any other operating system like centos?
Centos is the best if you want to
