Well I have been working mostly flawlessly with Parallels 2.5 since June (one usb problem solved) - so about four months. I have not upgraded to OS 10.4.10 because there were some issues with 2.5 and .10 at the time. I need to upgrade to .10 now because new versions of iLife and iWork require it. So the $64 quesion ofthe hour is........ Is it safe to upgrade to 10.4.10 and continue using Parallels 2.5? Thanks for any input ( I am using a Macbook Pro, 2.4, with 4 GB memory and 160 HD.) Regards, Royce
I have been using 2.5 (build 3214) with 10.4.10 for many months now with no problems. Clone your Mac hard drive to at least one external Firewire drive, as you should already be doing anyway, and upgrade your internal drive to 10.4.10. If things don't work, clone your external back to your internal. David MacBook Pro Core 2 Duo 2.33 GHz, 3 GB RAM OS X 10.4.10 Parallels Desktop 2.5, Build 3214 Windows XP Pro SP2
