Just upgraded to Catalina and Parallels 13's performance is quite terrible. Lots of lag, makes it pretty much unusable. Not even running anything but basic programs and dragging windows around. Anyone else with this experience or fix?!

    My System:
    MacOS Catalina 10.15.2
    iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015)
    3.2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5
    24 GB 1867 MHz DDR3
    AMD Radeon R9 M390 2 GB

I have parallels settings set to 2 processors, 8GB of RAM, and 1GB of VRAM. Should I give it 4 processors? How much will that affect performance of MacOS?

    Thanks

Hmm, just remember It's parallels running through my bootcamp partition. Could this be the problem? Should I get rid of bootcamp and just run it in parallels?

Tried parallels 15 trial version and it runs almost perfectly... pretty lame that a what, 2 year old product doesn't support latest version of Mac OS? *sigh*

  5. Hi guys, Parallels Desktop 13 is not fully compatible with macOS Catalina, please check this KB article for more info.
