    Hi MaxL7,

Please make sure you install Parallels Tools. It is available from the "Actions" menu.

After that you will be able to change resolution by resizing VM window.

Though there is no 3D acceleration or Metal support in macOS VM. So most games won't work or they can be very slow.

I'm running a trial version of parallels 17 on a MacBook Pro 2019 (i9) / Monterey Version 12.0.1. My VM is a High Sierra Image created by parallels on the source machine. There are two issues:
    1) Despite having Parallels tools installed I can not find a setting which supports a resolution beyond 1024 x 768.
    2) When the VM is displayed in it's window on the host VM and the graphics are letterboxed (there are black bands to the left and the right of the fixed resolution VM display) the cursor will not transition to active when moved across the letterbox regions - it must be moved from above or below the VM window when transitioning from being active in the host to be active in the VM.

Me either. I cannot go beyond 1024x768 and I have Parallels Tools installed.
