    Hi,

I am running parallels on my Macbook Pro that has an ATI Radeon X1600. My problem is I can't get windows to recognise the graphics card and therefore can't run and games or 3D software.

I'm assuming I need a driver or something but not sure. In my windows device manager I get question marks alongside "Other devices" which has both "Other PCI Bridge Device" and "Video Controller" appear when you click the + sign.

    Any help would be appreciated.

You can't install an ATI or NVIDIA driver under Parallels - the card is being "shared" with the Mac OS host so Parallels has to emulate a "virtual" graphics card.

Parallels has (limited) support for OpenGL and DirectX that allows some 3D software to run. Go read the section "Accelerated 3D-Graphics Support" in the manual.

while you have you vm running and logged in, on the parallels tool bar select vm and install parallels tools and it should fix you screen resolution problem
