Hi, After moving to a new Mac, I'm unable to activate parallels on my new Mac. I don't have my old Mac with me any more. Please de-activate on the old Mac so that I can use it on my new Mac. I don't get the option to do so on logging in to my new Mac. I get the msg: "This license has reached its activation limit and can no longer be used to activate new product copies." Thanks.
Hi Maria, I still get the same message "This license has reached its activation limit and can no longer be used to activate new product copies." Do I need to uninstall and re-install? Thanks.
Hi, please reinstall Parallels Desktop, restart your Mac and try again. Let us know how does it work.
Hi Maria, Reinstalled parallels and restarted Mac. Shows the key in the login window after logging in. But when I click "activate", I get the same msg: "This license has reached its activation limit and can no longer be used to activate new product copies." Thanks.
Same msg "This license has reached its activation limit and can no longer be used to activate new product copies."
Hi Maria, Since these key changes don't seem to be working, is it possible for you to disable this key and add a new key to the account? Thanks.
Quit Parallels Desktop and execute the command below in Terminal window then try to activate Parallels Desktop 12. sudo rm -rf /Library/Preferences/Parallels/licenses.xml
