With Leopard, I will use Time Machine. Since I don't see any preferences in Time Machine allowing me to exclude someting from the backup set, this is creating a problem with Parallels. The about 10gig virtual hard disk is going to be automatically backed up every Hours when I use Parallels... This is wrong. Is there to excluded the virtual disk? Is there a way for time machine to backup what is inside this "disk"? What should I do?
Start by reading the documentation before whining at us. From the Apple site: http://www.apple.com/macosx/features/timemachine.html Yes, it works, I used it last night while hanging out with my buddies at the Apple store.
Thanks for pointing out this web page. It's OK to tell someone RTFM... when there is a FM to read ! So now, I hope Parallels 4 will offer a way to backup wha's within the image. This would be cool
Yeah, now integrating Snapshots with Time Machine would be SICK! I wonder if it is even technically possible without dumping millions, and if it is, I hope we get it in 3.0
