Hello, I noticed that when the HTML5Gateway is called up, two files are transferred that contain the current build version. It's about the files: style.{version}.css RasHTML5Gateway.{version}.js There is no need to expose this information. I am aware that this is about security by obscurity. Actually, only a proper security strategy helps and having the systems up to date. @parallels what do you think? Best regards Patrick
Hi Patrick, this is not related to security, actually. We do so to ensure that the latest files are used from the server when HTML5 gateway update happens. Otherwise browsers will use these files from the cache and HTML5 client won't work for some time after RAS server update.
Hi Eugene, thank you for your prompt reply. All right. That makes sense. Thank you very much and happy Easter Patrick
