    Hello

I have Windows 10 installed on an external SSD drive I can boot into Windows just fine from the EFI boot, but I would also like to be able to access it from Parallels (whilst still on the external SSD drive). I have had this setup working previously on my previous machine but for some reason I cannot work out how to get it working on my new one.

The in-app help suggest I should just be able to select Boot Camp partition in the Installation Assistant, but no such option exists. I have tried researching the issue but cannot find a solution. Is anyone able to help?

    Many thanks

The external drive will be formatted and a single MS-DOS (FAT) volume will be created. The USB flash drive needs to be formatted to accept the Windows software that Boot Camp Assistant will download and install.

I am sorry but your reply does not help an awful lot. Perhaps you can clarify? When will the external drive be formatted? I have already installed Windows on the drive and it boots successfully from the EFI boot. I would now like to use it in Parallels too.
