I created a VM, with Lion on it. I am now getting drive space warnings. How do I expand the hard drive in an existing VM? I assumed that it would just auto increase as needed.

I found a configuration screen. It let me increase the HD size on the VM. However when the VM boots, it simply boots to the old volume size.
How do I get it to expand? I have that checked under the config for the HD. What am I doing wrong?

Still not working on a Mac Guest. Not sure why it isn't expanding the partition.

  5. Please follow the steps from this article to increase the virtual disk size for the Mac GuestOS.

The instructions say to open a terminal window on the GUEST VM and type a command. How do you do that if the GUEST VM has been shutdown?

Nearly a month and not a word from parallels support. Really pathetic.
