    Hi

I've been using Parallels on my Mackbook Pro for many years now and running Windows for my accounting programs.

However, my Macbook broke down and had to be replaced - I decided this would be a good time to make the switch to a PC Windows laptop.

Unfortunately, I did not manage to do a full back up of my accounting program running on Windows on the Mac. I have managed to recover the actual Hard Drive only which is in good working order. My question is:

Will I be able to connect my old Mac Hard drive to my PC and run the accounting program to make the backup since it should be in a format that the Windows PC recognises or will that not be possible?

Hopefully, someone can help with this problem.

    Peace

    Khalid

Hello @KhalidM2 I understand your concern, however, as your Windows OS which ran on your Mac using Parallels is a virtualized environment it will not be recognized by your normal Windows PC.

Hi Thanks for your reply - I will have to try to borrow a friend's mac and work from there.
