I found some floppy disks and want to read them with a win98 machine. I wanna know though if Parallels can read and detect physical floppy disks. If yes, then which version?
And, which supported drives? I'm pretty sure Apple don't make external floppy drives for Macs anymore for over 20 years...
Hello, Parallels Desktop 15 has Floppy disk at the external drives menu and at the Boot Order settings, but Parallels no longer supports Windows 98. You can test it during the trial period (if you haven't purchased it yet)
Not sure what to mark as the answer, but PD13 supports external floppy disks and identifies the device as «3,5" 1,44MB floppy disk». So on, yes, 13th PD supports physical FDDs.
